So after a spree of making focals, I concentrated on making mini versions of the sea urchin beads. I prefer making smaller beads, mostly because they take less time.

At that’s what these beads remind me of. I’m about to head to the torch again for another marathon bead making. This will make it the 5th time this week… more than I’ve torched all year.

I probably haven’t made beads with stringer control / scroll detail in over a year. I’m happy to say I still have it. And question why I ever stopped making these. It’s so hard for me to pick a favorite!
