It occurred to me when I was at 3rd Degree for their open house this past weekend, I’ve never shown the studio. I teach here during the school year through Washington University, and I love how open, clean and most important the people are. They are such a fun group. 🙂 Most of the artists are glassblowers and I’m going to dare and try it next month. Just standing next to the glory hole is a bit intimidating!
So anyways, the first pic is the flameworking area itself… there are 10 minor torches with quick disconnects. In the second pic, I’m standing way, way on the other side of the studio. You can see in the foreground the fusing area. Thank goodness there’s AC in this space. 🙂
