I’ll once again be selling at Glass Galore at Kirkwood Community Center! I’m very excited to participate in this annual event sponsored by the Saint Louis Lampworkers Society a non-profit organization that provides resources and educational forums for those in the region interested in learning more about lampworked beads.
For immediate release:
The Saint Louis Lampworker’s Society will be hosting Glass Galore on September 26th, 2009 at the Kirkwood Community Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
One-of-a-kind works of art, these handmade goodies can be used in a variety of applications: knitting, weaving, sewing and jewelry making. In addition to beads, the artists will be featuring glass buttons and fused plates. Several jewelry and lampwork suppliers will also be on hand.
View a lampworking demonstration video, sign up for various classes and win door prizes, which will be awarded throughout the day!
This event is family-friendly. Admission is $2 and all fees collected will be donated to St. Martha’s Hall, a shelter for battered women.
