Spring Fling

Vintage crazy like me? You will want to check out Spring Fling in the City, which will be hosted in North City’s Crown Square. Happening on May 10, 2014 from 10-4, it’s virtually a vintage smorgasbord featuring more than 60 local vendors in addition to highlighting Crown Square businesses and restaurants. Who knows, I might have found more vintage suitcases and cameras by then. 😉

Sunday Funday

I have a few shows coming up in May! First one is Sunday Funday over at the original location of Urban Chestnut Brewery. If you still need to shop from mom (or just for yourself), stop by on May 4 from 11-5.  There will be noms from The Sweet Divine (cupcakes!) and Holy Crepe, music by Letter to Memphis and Morgan Nusbaum (of Bruiser Queen), and an appearance by Rack + Clutch mobile boutique!

Vintage Market Days

VMD_07
The spring event of Vintage Market Days has come and gone, and once again I had a grand time! Well… after I got my car out of the mud. 😉 With the torrential downpour days before the event, the grounds were super soaked, and I’m so glad that I had an inside booth!  I didn’t have a chance to run around as much to view all the lovely goodies, but I did get a few things. And resisted quite a few more. For more photos, check out my Facebook page!

VMD_03Of course, I’m attracted to turquoise. 🙂 And any kitchen ware just slays me.

VMD_01Love these “trapped” frozen charlotte necklaces!

I’ve been mostly quiet because I’m catching up with jewelry making. It has been an insane show season and I still have the Rock n Roll Craft Show, which is an insanely busy event. And it’s NEXT week. Eeep…

Anyways, I’ve been repackaging the Woodland Initial Necklaces and made new Inspiration pieces. More sneak peeks are on the way. 🙂

HoliDIY

HoliDIY
It bears repeating that the holiday season is upon us. With that, my first holiday show will be HoliDIY, over at the Mad Art Gallery, Nov. 9th, 11 am to 7 pm with free admission.

Along with beer,  there will be barbeque from Capitalist Pig and plenty of local art and modern craft. Why wait till Black Friday to do your holiday shopping? Oh, and did I mention an Awkward Family Christmas Card booth?  Personally, I think that’s the best part. For more info, check out the website!
